You can make one or two extensions for OpenLD. Just publish the extension.xml code here in this thread if you want. I just want to that you understand the openld code to a certain degree before I add you. However, it is very easy to understand.

Right now, when it comes to adding features in 95% of the cases, it involves in making/editing extensions. That's because I want to keep a small light weight core that is possible to extend as much as a directory owner wants. It is also because it is much easier to maintain a small core than a bloated one. We need to have it in a certain structure to make the code as well as the interface userfriendly.

In the coming milestone release OpenLD 1.3, the core and default theme could be slightly rewritten. We plan to make more caching in order to make the directory faster. Better spam-content-detection(akismet integration probably). Adding javascript form checking. It is also possible decrease much of the core code by rewrite the SQL arrays by using more JOINS.

I could moderate the forum for starters. I just created 1 theme (3 color schemes).

By the way. Do you know jQuery well? We plan to add it in the 2.0 release of OpenLD.

Can you make me an admin here? That is if you're ok with me doing a bit of organization of the forums.
I really want to make an impact, and get this party started....also there is openld.org forums (we should direct those people over here) and the SF.net forums as well (just saw a post there). If we can keep this openld.com site as the support forum for all OpenLD related stuff I think it will simplify things for people.
